Time for pills to get into your system?

Does anyone know how long it takes for pills (in this case birth control) to get into your system? I have the stomach flu and threw up about 10 minutes after taking it. Does that coubt as a missed pill?

Yep, that counts as a missed pill. Usually take about 30-60min for the stomach to empty. If it was 10min, u definitely threw up the dissolved tablet in the bile.

Normally you have to use other contraception means for 7 days after you had diarrhoea or threw up because your system probably did not absorb the pill.
