When is it okay to have intercourse again after ectopic pregnancy?

2 weeks ago I had emergency surgury to remove my right tube along with my 6 week baby. It was the hardest day of my life. I am getting over it, but want to be romantic with my husband so bad. It has been a month and a half since we have made love and it is driving me crazy!! My dr. Told me 4/5 weeks and it's so hard to wait!!! Anyone else go before that?

I've had two ectopic. My first one ended in emergency surgery with my left tube being tied. 2 months later I got pregnant again and received 4 doses of a shot.(don't remember the medical term for it). My baby was also 6 weeks and a day and it is something I will never forget. Ok enough about me....lol! I had sex (believe it or not) 8 days after surgery which is not healthy. They want u to look at it as if u just had a live birth. I know u may be horny (cuz I sure was) but it is best to wait it out. It allows your insides to heal from the inside out.

My dr told me after my ectopic it was ok after the bleeding and cramps stopped. I didn't have to have a tube removed and my baby miscarried naturally so idk if it's different :/ but we waited about a week and took precautions as per my Dr cause He said it would be unhealthy for me to get pregnant again so soon.
