When I worked at Legoland, we would give all kids a "lost parents" sticker. It would have the kid's name and the parents' number on it. They could have a sticker or a wristband. 
But this idea is pretty cool too.

My niece has autism, and while her verbal skills are improving, she is wary of strangers and is likely to get upset if people she doesn't know try to touch her. We do this when we go out somewhere, just in case, and she knows to show her arm to an adult who works wherever we are to have them call or page us. Luckily, it has never had to be used.

That is a really good idea! When we'd go to the PNE with our son when he was younger and he was walking we'd go to the parents tent and get a sticker that we put on the back of his shirt (so he didn't rip it off) and they'd put a corresponding note on a piece of paper so if he got lost they'd just call us and the parents tent was very nice. Designed for diaper changes, with extra diapers and wipes, comfy chairs for breast feeding, colouring area for other children.
Now my son is older he knows his dad's first and last name, his first and last name and he thinks I have the same last name so we haven't corrected him on that yet, but he also knows who's he to go to if he gets lost and that he's to stand in one spot until we find him.

A couple years ago my best friend and I took our kids to the air show at our base. 8 kids 12 and under..... I wrote both of our phone numbers on their arms in marker before we left, I wasn't taking any chances lol.

I've never done anything for my kids. I just have never let them out of my sight. I'm like extremely extremely aware of my surroundings. I was almost taken when I was about 12 and have never forgot about it. I have family that works at Disney World so we get in free and go all the time and they are in front of me at all times. My kids are now 15 and 12 and have had no problems. They know how crazy I get and I have freaked them out so bad that they won't leave me.

I would for my kids if they haven't memorized my number yet. But one of the first things I ever remember learning was spelling my name, then my phone number and address.

But I think it's a good idea especially if say a staff member finds my kid they can reach me right away.
