I just found out I was pregnant a few weeks ago and my and my SO we're ecstatic. He's going to be an amazing father I just know it and so far everyone has been super supportive. The problem is we both work retail and I'm still in college and as a result we don't have a strong financial base to start our new family. We are planning to either borrow or buy items used for the baby as well as start off living in the basement apartment at his parents house. We have insurance and the baby as well as all my prenatal costs will be covered. We are having a hard time setting up a budget and I know it's crucial for the success of our family. My SO seems to have a hard time seeing why it's necessary as well. Does anyone have any advice on how to budget or save?
