My breast are sore to the touch and seems heavier for a week now, and my cycle is four days late. Although I'm TTC, I don't want to take a test because I'm scared of a negative result...

Okay I don't want to be harsh here but we can't diagnose you. You have to take a test. I understand the let down. Most if not all of us have been there. It's not like it's 5 days before your missed period. You missed it already. Take a test. At least you'll know that whatever answer you get will be definitive. Good luck.
