Loki?

So thinking of boy names I love love love loki but my husband said no the second he heard it. What do you guys think. Is it awesome and I should try and warm him up to it. Or a dud and I should keep looking.

Keep looking. Loki is a terrible God in Norse mythology. I agree with your hubby on this one.

it is the bad guy's name in Thor.... and I think young boys will all know that and think it's cool, but once grown up and on resumes and things, it might be a bit of a problem. it's definitely not the worst name out there, but I think there are some things to consider about it. good luck!

I actually love the name Loki.  I think its pretty badass. However, I couldn't bring myself to actually name my child that.

I think it's a cool name but the Norse mythology behind it is fairly negative. I would relate to to naming your son Lucifer. So if that's ok with you then go for it but maybe stay out of Nordic countries. ;)

My mom's cat is named Loki and I had a cat named Loki so for me it sounds like a pets name, not a real one.

I loved this but my hubby was against it too. I am very in to Nordic mythology. Some variations we agreed on we're loik and thorn and freya for a girl all Nordic still
