Delivery conversations with hubby

So me and my so are trying but never actually talked about delivery. My cousin got induced today and got an epideral at 4 centimeters. I told my husband and he didnt know what that ment. Anyway that lead us into a whole conversation about delivery and what happens and possible complications. After the conversation my husband wants me to get a c section. So any advice or stories anyone has?
