We were scheduled for induction on 8/26/2015, we went in that Tuesday night for a ballon procedure to speed up the birthing process. It only took 4 hours, and I was 7 cm dilated! I was like well this is nice the pain hurt, but it was bare able. Then every contraction I started to have his heart rate would decrease. We got scared the doctor said if this didn't stop we would have to do a c section... This is not what I wanted, and didn't want it to happen. But it's not what I wanted it's what's in the best interest for the baby. Well I had an epidural, which compared to contractions is no pain at all! And that's the only thing I had as far as pain meds on the table. The c section wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I only wished I could've had skin to skin right then, but understand why I couldn't. Best experience of my life!!!!
