Our little Azarra has been in the NICU since her birth on 8/25. She has a severe case of jaundice due to RH incompatibility. Her bilirubin levels are slowly coming down, and by the grace of God, today she was moved from the NICU to the Special Care Nursery. She went from quadruple phototherapy down to just a single bililight overnight. She is still being heavily monitored and pricked for numerous tests daily, but at least the possibility of an exchange blood transfusion has been eliminated. I appreciate the creation of this group as I have been a wreck and felt so alone. My previous pregnancy ended in still birth, so I am literally one big ball of paranoid. It's hard to see your little angel going through so much while so small. Please pray for my husband and I as we patiently wait for Azarra's recovery. We are so ready to have her home where she belongs ❤️
