Is this normal?

My little one is 6 weeks old now and she sleeps through the night. She goes to bed around 11-1130 and wakes anywhere from 5-7 the next morning. She's been doing this since about 2 1/2 weeks old. Is it normal for a newborn to sleep that long? She's a very content baby, gaining weight and has wet/dirty diapers. Not thatI'm complaining  about sleep ;)

You are so lucky! No, it's not normal. Most babies wake up several times a night at that age. And if you are really lucky like I was, your kid may not sleep through for a year. :/
 You have hit what I would call the baby jackpot.

Yes my little one has been the same way since we brought her home and thankfully still sleeping great at night she 8 weeks now.

Yep. My son has been sleeping from around 9:30-6:30 every day since probably 6 or 8 weeks! Then we get up, change him, feed him, and we both get back in my bed (my husband leaves for work around 7) and stay in bed till 9:30 or 10

My understanding is that as long as they are gaining weight and still doing an appropriate amount of diapers this should be fine.

Mine does that, too. We are lucky. 😊 Like others have said, if they gain weight and have enough diapers, I wouldn't worry too much.

Mine has done that from around 10wks but we don't tell people for the envious looks! He is formula fed so I think it must fill him up long enough to have a nice long sleep.
