Immunizations ?

Did any of you have to update your immunizations before TTC? If so, which one it was and how long did you have yo wait before TTC? I am gathering my records to show to my doctor and wondering if I need anything.

I had to update my rubella vaccination. Two vaccines, one month apart. I couldn't fall pregnant during that time,  so we had to put ttc on hold for two months. The doctor even gave us free condoms!

Thanks all for the comments! I had researched vaccines info before, but was mostly wondering if you personally had to put TTC on hold due to a missing vaccine.

Immunization are important and the CDC link is a good one. It's also good to know if you are at risk for exposure to or have antibodies for CMV. You would only really be exposed to this if you work around transplant patients. Also, your blood type to know if you will need Rhogam. Good luck!

I would like to know this, too! I know you have to get the whooping cough shot before you take your baby home but I don't remember anything else.
