Is it normal?

So I been having a headache for the past week until now & I was wondering if it's normal. I'm kind of freaking out I don't want it to be preeclampsia & I don't have medical at the moment it'll be active in a week or so. Any answers on what it could be?

Its normal ro get more headaches during pregnancy because of hormones and increase blood flow.. talk to tour dr

Very common in pregnancy. I go through spurts of having them for several days and then won't for a couple weeks

I get headaches if I don't drink enough water, if I don't drink ANY coffee, and/or if I don't get enough sleep.  When I do get them, I just try to sleep them off (which usually isn't hard with pregnancy fatigue).

I've had horrible headaches that just won't go away. I didn't want to take any meds but I started taking Tylenol with codeine after doctor proscribed it, and it helped a ton. Ice packs help too when they're not horrible. Unfortunately it's totally normal and something you just kind of have to deal with, but most times (fingers crossed) they go away by the third trimester.

I've had headaches for 4 weeks straight.. doctor said it's normal. Ughh. Feel like crap but starting to accept it as my new normal. Doesn't mean anything wrong with you.

I've been getting them too. It helps when I take a nap or just lay down for a bit

I was having them so bad for a while, prior to 12 weeks I hadnt seen a dr yet and didn't know what I could take (I only could find that ibuprofen wasn't safe during pregnancy and that's all we ever have at the house), but we got acetaminophen and it was a god send. I was only taking one 500mg a day, but once I saw my dr and got more info I take two. Sometimes twice a day if I need it. But the headaches are more rare now for me!

I went to the er today. I had this weird lighting bolt looking thing in the middle of my left eye and I couldn't see around it. I freaked out and called my obgyn. They told me to go straight to the er in fear of a stroke or something. Get there and run all kinds of tests. Blood pressure was fine so was baby. Turned out to be migraines with weird symptoms. The Drs said it was normal to have them while pregnant and it doesn't effect baby but if I see the lights again to come back to the er. I have to see a neurologist now. I didn't mean to scare you but now I'm not taking my headaches lightly anymore.

I've been having tension headaches as well. My doc said cause of the extra blood flow. It's normal but I'd talk to your dr about your concerns. Feel better. Mine have just about gone away.
