I'm trying to figure out what maturity panties are... Do you mean maternity panties or something that makes you older and wiser?

For my first I just bought one size bigger. It's so much cheaper

They are supposed to not roll down when your belly gets bigger but if you carry lower doesn't work. Just buy bigger panties that are comfortable for you. For the hospital I bought some that were a little too big so I wasn't wearing any tight clothing after birth. You definitely do not want to wear tight clothes after.

Just buy a couple sizes bigger its cheaper, and just a comfortable.

I didn't. I was able to wear my regular panties my entire pregnancy.
