Announcing pregnancy

So we are 20 weeks pregnant and we have not told anyone except our best friends.  We are due Jan 15th 2016.  The main reason we initially waited was because we have had miscarriages and we had our big family wedding planned about a thousand miles away from where we live.  Also we found out at 14 weeks along. Now time has passed and we had our anatomy ultrasound and everything is going really well thank The Lord but we now we need to tell family.  Any advice on how we should go about doing this ?  Everyone lives far away and feel everyone is going to be a little mad we waited so long.
