Trying to change OB's

So I am 10w5d and I am not super satisfied with my current OB. I've called two other OB's and they both said the same. They would need to get my records from my current doc. Look them over and hen let me know if they're willing to take me. They said it could take up to 2-3 weeks.

Is this normal? I guess I don't understand why it would take so long?
