Birth control & getting pregnant.

Hey , I was on the depo shot in 2013 and I hated it so after my first shot I never went back for a second , well in November of 2014 I had very bad pain after intercourse then threw up and my boyfriend drove to me to the hospital I found out I had an ovartion cyst but the doc said its normal lots a women my age get it ,it's common so since then I never had a period which is almost 10 months , August 26,2015 I went to the hospital and found out I had a few more cyst , she told me to get in birth control to regulate my period , the very next morning my period come I was so shock because it's been 10 months , so I started my birth control pills this Sunday. Ok my question , I really want to get pregnant how long should I take it ? Should I continue taking it for the month then just stop ? Those birth control pills giving me a higher chance of getting pregnant ??
