I don't want it. Why does it matter? My child will be loved regardless of how they come out. I don't need added stress of worry. Plus, it is often completely incorrect and causes worry for no reason. No Thanks.

I'm a FTM my doctor set up an appointment for me to have this screening. What should I expect? What if the results are bad?

It's standard in Australia. I had mine yesterday and baby is low risk for any abnormalities. I wasn't worried that the baby would have any disorders so I just laid back and enjoyed seeing my baby on the screen for 30+ minutes.

We decided to do it. I was told its just an ultrasound and blood test. We have a family member with spina bifida and for us we just needed to know versus worrying about it.

I had mine done today! I got to see my little bean forever today... He/She had its hand up like it was covering its eyes and had its legs crossed.... Soo much cuteness.. The ultrasound read that everything is good, and I'll get the results back in a week or so.. The harmony, and verifi test my insurance doesn't cover unless the Nuchal teat comes back with issues. .

They test everyone at my office for this. All my results were negative and my little one is perfectly healthy ! I'm so relieved.

I did mine last week and so glad I did because the technician saw the gender and I'm only 3 months! I didn't wanna wait till 5 months! Everything looked good as well which was just reassuring.
