Late, negative test, still no AF?!?

Maygen • Mon, Aug 31 • 26 year old business owner/working mother of one 3 year old boy. Recently my hubby and i have decided we are ready to start trying for baby #2! So, i suppose this is our journey :) baby dust to all!

Hey all, so I am on a 31 day cycle, so I should have started my AF yesterday but of course... She's fashionably late, so I took a test and it came back negative... Is it possible I ovulated later due to a longer cycle? Think it's worth testing again or has anyone ever taken days or weeks after a missed period before you tested positive?
