Why is my belly growing so quick??

I'm only 5 weeks and I'm pretty skinny, I've always had a flat belly, but I'm already showing kind of a lot?? I looks like I'm 4 months, is this normal??

The bloat is real in the first trimester. I'm sure it's that.

I had bloating so bad early on I really looked 6 mos along at 6 weeks.

I've always had a bit of a belly, but I could no longer suck it in.

I'm 13 weeks now and the bloating has subsided it's not as uncomfortable,  but that belly has not gone away, it's just getting tighter now.

Yeah it's normal! We all show differently! I'm going to be 16w tomorrow and I've been showing since 7w. Everyone tells me I'm having twins and I'm like nope.... Ultrasound clearly shows one baby lol

The bloat can be super prominent. I'll have bloating at times so badly that I cannot even suck my stomach in at all, & it definitely looks like I'm 4 months or so, as well, & then a couple days later the "bump" is suddenly gone (& I doubt that my 1-inch bean would make me show at all!). However, I did have a friend who started to notice something tiny at 9 weeks, & she was very thin & small-framed, so it does depend & can happen 😉.

The bloating is killing me. I feel like a walking whale because of this. I like to be thin and healthy. Gaining weight is scaring me.
 This was a planned but unplanned month because we have a wedding, photos, and a huge concert. Miracles work in funny ways.

I'm almost 11 weeks and my bloat is finally lessening - now I look less pregnant than I did 4 weeks ago! ;) No worries - pregnancy is just a weird and wacky ride.
