Phantom pregnancies? Just read an article about them

Just read an article about women who supposedly have phantom pregnancies and it creeped me Te hell out. Anyone ever go through this or know someone who has this???

They are real and they suck. I had one. I missed my cycle for 4 months my stomach grew into a bump, I had nausea and tons of other symptoms. Wasn't pregnant though but because my ovaries formed cysts I guess (according to my dr anyway) my body was tricked into thinking it was carrying a child, that and we wanted a child so bad I mentally tricked myself as well without knowing I did. Finally the cysts went away with meds and I got a period, which also sucked because it was like I had a mc and lost a baby, though I wasn't pregnant.

I worked at a correctional facility years ago. I was doing transportation and took this woman to get doctor appt. She looked to be about 5 our 6 months. The didn't heart a heart beat so she performed and ultrasound and there wasn't a baby in the sac. They admitted her to do a dnc. While we was in the room they put get in she started passing blood clots as if to miscarry. I had to call for the nurses to come. I never seen anything like this before this.

My dog has gone through this twice. Both times she went into heat before we got her fixed.

But I have never known a person to experience it in my own personal life.

My brothers ex gf had a phantom pregnancy the chick was/ is nuts... She looked pregnant her belly felt pregnant and she even had movement in there... Then finally one day my brother tried to go to the dr with her she said she had been going alone all along and he found out it was all a lie and she was indeed not pregnant and she wanted it so badly that it tricked her body to do all of those things... Freakin nuts

After my son was born i felt phantom kicks for over 2 years, now pregnant with my second child and im still not sure which are real kicks or not.
