When do you know you are pregnant?!

How long after intercourse does it take for your body to conceive, what is the time period needed before you know whether or not you are pregnant? A day, a week... When is it time to take a pregnancy test? How do you know if it's too early to tell?!

What is the terminology meanings in your posts ?! B something D something... I'm not trying and not not trying. Just trying to be knowledgeable about the process properly. No kids thus far. No kids at all in the family by our set of sisters, cousins ect. So no references available. No close friends either! Crazy right! Anyways... What if u get your period and want to test, you wait until it's over at that point to be sure?! Since a period show doesn't always mean you're in the clear...

Usualy your body needs 6-12 days for implantation... After that it takes some time until HCG level is high enogh to be detected. So take an HPT when your period is some days late. Period not showing is one of the earliest pregnancy sign that can't be confound with PMS signs.

Some people get very faint positive tests 10 DPO, but doctors say to wait until your missed period (usually 14+ DPO) since the majority of women won't have enough Hcg to register on a test till then.
