I just got an invite to a close friend's wedding. I'm invited to 2 of her showers and the wedding. The thing I find weird is the registry is not her taste at all. I don't know what happened but everything is black. She has always said how much she hates black. I don't want to spend money on stuff she is halfhearted about. There is nothing under $60 on it and I feel like she's not going to be happy with her choices. I think it must have been rushed decisions. I thought it was just me but a couple people have mentioned that they think the registry is stuff she won't be happy with. (Not me bringing it up). I found some gifts that would be close to her heart and are much more her style and personality.

Do you think it's rude to ignore her registry? I wasn't going to comment on it or anything.
