Baby arrives early!

Well at 4:55 August 30th I went to the restroom and my water broke just like that. I was currently just about the start cooking chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy. So I tell my s/o and he says ok let's go! Although I had a different plan lol I wanted to finish cooking and eat and take a shower and the reaon I wasn't freaking out is because I was not having any contrations and I also didnt lose my mucus plug (unless I lost it during a nighttime trip to the bathroom and didnt notice) so I finish cooking and we leave. When we arrived, I was examined to see if I was acually leaking amniotic fulid and I was so they admit me, well I wasnt dialated at all so they did a pitocin drip on me had the epidural as well after la or started (which they did make all family memebers and s/o leave for the epidural but other hospitals may be diffrent) 12 hours later I still was not dialated to a 3 and my contrations were not being picked up at all by the monitor on my belly, so they decided they we going to do an internal monitor. That would have been great except it took them 2 hours and 3 diffrent monitor sticks to get it to work and by the the time they were done I was dialated to almost a 4 but moslty because 5 diffrent nurses kept poking all around in there. Ok so they put me in diffrent positions to try and help the dilation and it never worked I even stopped contracting all together so at 8pm central the nurse informed me that she spoke with the doctor and we going to do a C-section on me because I was just not doing anything anymore even with the pitocin drip at 20... and so at 9:06 pm central my baby boy was born at a lovely 7 pounds 6 ounces and 20 inches long. This baby was supposed to be born on sept. 11th and he came early with a birthday of August 31st 2015:) so there is my little tale of how my particular labor went! Everyone is diffrent and anything can happen:) but we do have a healthy Philip Trent Joseph Kirkbride (T.J)
