Birth Control Side Effects

I would like to know what happens to the body when taking birth control. Do you gain eeight? Do you lose weight? Do you have strange symptoms? What happens. Ive heard too many things and don't know which is true or not. I want to get onto birth control but my fear is becoming over weight.
