Pp bright red bleeding

I am 3wks PP and had bleeding that went from red to pink to really light. But today I had bright red bleeding. Is this normal or am I hemorrhaging. I called my dr and left a message which hopefully they get back to me soon.  My pad is not saturated but it is  pretty bright red. Anyone else had this?
