Breast milk supply
Hi all - wondering if there are any other moms out there struggling with milk production.
My daughter arrived via emergency c-section at 29 weeks after I had seizures from severe eclampsia, and a resulting brain hemmorhage. I was sedated for two days before I got to meet my daughter so missed that initial bonding and start to pumping. The good news is I am recovering well and baby is great! She is up to 3lb9oz from a birthweight of 2lbs.
I really want to provide her with my breast milk but even pumping 7x per day, I'm only getting enough for a few feedings. It's been almost 5 weeks with no change.
I have been taking fenugreek for a week but haven't seen results yet.
