Help me avoid the freshman 15

Please! I am moving to college soon and the scariest thing is gainin weight. How do I eat healthily, on a budget and tight schedule? And how do I curb cravings? If I don't eat when I'm hungry I will get severe migraines.. And if I eat fruit or a vegetable it doesn't really seem to do the trick! Only breads and heavy carb foods will actually keep me full, but I can't lose weight because of it. Coping tips? Help
