I had one of my ovaries removed at birth due to a cyst the size of a softball in my little new born body :( I wasn't even supposed to be born (they said I would be a still born). It is a miracle I am here and I try to remember that on my worst days! I have a regular period (last 5 days, comes every 28 days) and have never had an complications except last winter they found a cyst on my healthy ovary. Other than that I am in good health!! I have never been to any type of gyno. One of my biggest fears is not being able to reproduce in the future if I want to, seeing as that I have a 50% less likely chance than the average woman. Just wondering if anybody else out there has only 1 ovary or if they could tell me anything I don't know. Maybe educate me if I am completely wrong about not being able to reproduce. Any info helps! I am a little nervous to go to an actual doctor that specializes in this stuff so I thought this would be a good start. Thanks ladies!!
