Recovery time for Laproscopy?

I have to have an endometrioma cyst removed surgically and would like to know how long recovery takes. Anyone had cyst removal laparoscopically and will share their experience with me? How quickly were you up and moving around afterward? Were you in much pain?

I had the surgery done yesterday to remove endo. They also found a cyst on my left ovary. The incisions don't seem to hurt nearly as bad as the gas pains. It has put tons of pressure on my ribs, chest, diaphragm, collar bone, and my neck. All of which feel bruised to the touch. The carbon dioxide they inflate your stomach with gets trapped in there after the surgery. Take gas x and use a heating pad as well as keeping up with your pain meds. I cannot live without mine as we speak. The only comfortable position I find comfortable at the moment, is standing up. And even that sucks.

It took me about 5-7 days to recover but everyone is different. I had one endometrioma and endometriosis removed. Best of luck to you!

I'm having the same done in 10 days. Eek! I have a huge endometrioma. Was helpful to hear the recovery time info. When is your surgery?
