Confusion

So my husband and I had a missed miscarriage with our first baby in July. I still hadn't gotten my period yet a couple weeks after the bleeding stopped, so we took a series of pregnancy tests and all were positive. I went to the doctor 3 days ago and their pregnancy test indicated a faint line. They are unsure of whether it's leftover hormones from the miscarriage or a very early pregnancy. My husband and I strongly believe it's an early pregnancy. I have new pregnancy symptoms they just started within the past couple weeks, plus I can feel something in my abdomen at times, the same feeling as when I was pregnant before the miscarriage. I took a blood test while at the doctor so they could see my HCG levels and will take another a week later to see if they're rising. Anyone else had this happen and if so, what were the results?
