Is the implant worth it?

I have been reading about horrible side effects caused by the Implant. Is it worth it for this? Im honestly scared to get it.

I have it in my arm and I LOVE IT!!! it takes at the most 3 months to adjust to it, so stick it out at least 3 months. Or as quickly as day one. I was emotional the first week, and bled for 3 weeks, but after that it is perfect! :)

Side effects all depend on the person. I just got mine removed a couple days ago because of excessive weight gain, but other than that I loved it and I've heard that not everyone gains a lot of weight from it like I did.

I hated it I could feel it in my arm all the time and it was it really uncomfortable. Got it removed after a week

My implant an I have a love/ hate relationship lol
I got mine in 6 weeks after I had my daughter. I bled heavy 10 days straight and my face broke out. After about  a month my body was use to it. I haven't had a period since those 10 days! And my face is fine now.  Still have a little mood swings. But love it!

I've had the implanon for more than a year & Im just thinking about switching to IUD. The weight gain is making me crazy. I've gained about 30 lbs from what my weight was before the implanon. It has it's pros & cons for me.

Pros: Stopped my periods. No cramps. Very light almost no spotting. & not pregnant!

Cons: Weight gain (which is why I'm thinking about switching to IUD). Emotional roller coaster I've never had before.

I had the depo Vera & that was tiring. Having to go every 3 months was a hassle.

Honestly. The implanon is not something to be afraid of. You will react differently to how other people & myself reacted. You just gotta try it out & find the best BC for you!

Horrible. One of my ovaries stopped working.  Nothing but pain in my arm heavy periods. Messed up emotions weight gain.

Everyone seems to react differently... I didn't have mine in for long as it altered my moods quite badly and bled continuously.

I had mine removed after 3 months. It was making me crazy. I also broke out with acne on my face and back.
