Internal stitches remedies?

So I tore horizontally and my stitches are mostly inside of me. It has been over a week now and it is still extremely painful to sit down. Any women who have experienced this have anything that helped? Also, how long did it take them to heal because they are inside and not receiving as much oxygen?

I'd say Tucks pads, cortisone spray, and ice packs. I sat on ice packs for a week or two after labor because I was in pain as well from 3 and a half hours of pushing.

I tore inside and out. I'm 4 weeks pp and I'm not in pain per se, but I'm still pretty uncomfortable. Especially if I walk too much or move around too quickly. I used tucks, ice packs and numbing spray. Other than that I just tried not to move around too much. And whatever you do DO NOT lift anything too heavy! You can tear your stitches and you do not want to have to have more put in!
