Book- " The End of Faith" by Sam Harris
Have of any of your read it? My husband and I are reading it right now. He got it for me in iBooks. It's a tough read in the beginning, but gets easier. I'd consider myself smart with a decent vocabulary, but I had to look up several words lol. It drive me nuts.
I haven't gotten very far into yet. A few chapters. Anyhow, it's a decent read. I recommend it.
I'm totally accepting of any believers and won't criticize them. It's not my place to tell them their beliefs are nuts, just don't push them on my children or force them on me.
I'm exploring the bull shit of religion , I am not sure what I really believe yet as far as my spirituality. Like where does the universe come from, do we have a soul, yada yada. But I think religion is a joke. The belief in "God" of any faith I think is all man made. Heaven and hell are not convincing. I firmly believe all religion is a sham. Nothing but centuries of politics, deceit, heinous acts against humanity, hypocrisy, and greed.
