I went into labor on my own on 8/31 (4 days past due). I saw my doctor at 8am on 9/1 and was 3cm after contractions all night so she admitted me. I walked around the hospital and bounced on the ball until 6cm then had an epidural. I started pushing a little after 5pm at 10cm. I pushed until about 9:45 when despite everything my doc and I had tried she was still sunny side up and stuck behind my pubic bone. Even though it's not at all what I had planned, I was so relieved that a c-section allowed her to be brought safely into the world! My husband got to have those first few moments with her while they finished up my surgery and then she was given to me an she started breast feeding right away. I couldn't be happier right now!
