Best time of the year for a cruise?

My husband and I are planning to renew our vows next year for our 10 year anniversary of being together (5th year married). But we didn't have a wedding. We ran off and did it which alleviated a lot of stress with both of our families lol. But, we want to renew them on a cruise and count it as our honeymoon since we never had one of those either lol! 
   We're thinking Royal Carribean even though I've always wanted to go on a Disney cruise 😂 (I've never been on a cruise before) we will be 24/25 depending on the time of year we go (:

Also, we would depart from Baltimore, MD. So I know that limits our options a little bit but not too much. Thanks in advance!

We did a carnival cruise for our honeymoon in January. We departed from Miami and did the eastern Caribbean 7 day cruise. It was AMAZING! Definitely go during the "off season". You will enjoy it more. Do not go during spring break or summer months because they tend to be really full then. You can't really go wrong on a cruise there is so much to do. Enjoy and good luck planning.

I feel splurging for Disney is worth it, but my husband and I love all things Disney so we greatly enjoyed the trip. The food was amazing, the shows were great and the excursions were fun. It is a bit pricier unless you go at the right time, but know it will never be cheaper than carnival or some other lines, but the experience is worth the price. They will have some ships leaving from New York soon and then Florida so you'd have to travel which can increase costs as well. Hope you find a good trip for yourself and your family.

My husband and I went on a Royal Carribean for our honeymoon and it was amazing! We want in March and the Bahamas was great. The water was a little chilly though. Next time I wanna go when its a bit hotter

Definitely  October!  We had the absolute best time on our first cruise this past October. We would do it again in a heart beat!

We went on a carnival cruise for our honeymoon and it was amazing! ! We went in early Oct and the weather was perfect and not alot of crazy kids on the boat which was nice.  I wouldn't take a Disney cruise because it is really expensive just because it's Disney themed nothing else different or special about it that I've heard - well except fireworks but whoo - anyways prices seem to be best in the fall and booking in advance saves alot of money :)

Royal Caribbean departs from Baltimore thank goodness (: we can "splurge" on a longer cruise and save on airfare. Idk it's all just browsing right now until I contact an agent to really get a plan going.

It depends on your destinations, I'm not sure where exactly cruise ships go from MD. We are in Florida. 
We have been on several summer cruises and one cruise in September. The September one was the best! The weather was perfect, less people on the ship and the staff on the boat was so much more relaxed and fun! 
Some friends of ours love to cruise in December and say it's the best time to go but again they depart from Florida so that may make a weather difference.

If you have to leave out of a specific port then you are restricted immensely to lines, dates and itineraries. Which is not a bad thing. Call RC and speak with a cruise consultant.

I recommend signing up for cruise line emails. They always have a deal and will tell you the best time of year for the cheapest amount. Usually october/ November is least expensive. July/august is most expensive.

I went on a carnival cruise from Galveston,  Texas in august, it was $1000 per person. Beautiful weather the whole time. But pricey.

this was last year and i still get emails for more.
