Will you be getting the flu shot?

Although the doctor told me that it is recommended that all pregnant women get the flu shot, I have read some controversial info on it.. not sure what to do as I have not had a vaccination since I was a child and had a reaction to one once.. makes me nervous. Anyone have any personal advice or experiences they can share on the topic? How do you feel about getting the flu shot while pregnant?
