sex life has cur-plunked

I've been seeing my second ever boyfriend for about 6 months now. he is much bigger than my ex was but the sex with my ex was Much better. I have a better connection with my boyfriend now than I did with my ex towards the end of our relationship but the sex with my ex was always so good. I fake a lot of the orgasms I have now. at first sex with my boyfriend hurt so we had sex more often to help that situation and get my body used to him. I stay lubricated down there for just a few minutes during sex and then everything gets dry and it hurts. I want to talk to him about lube or something but idk how. and I don't know how to help my sex life. he says it's great but I don't agree.
