Is it safe to dye my hair when pregnant?

I've got mixed feelings about it. TTC #2. I didn't dye my hair at all for my first pregnancy but recently went back blonde (from brunette) and really want to maintain it if I happen to get pregnant, but won't if there is a ton of risk. Any of you girls dyed your hair while pregnant?

They say there isn't any proof that it can't hurt your baby. Typically if you do I read that it's best to wait till your out of your first trimester. I struggled with this same question months ago. I was getting married and got pregnant a month before my wedding. I wanted to play it safe but my gray hair was showing bad. I went to a beauty salon store and got dye that has no chemicals. It's basically power you mix with water. It worked great for me and I didn't have to stress about it hurting my baby.

I am 13+5 and still dye my hair. As long as you are in a well ventilated area then you are fine. You can also go to the salon to have it done. You just don't want to sit there in a small room with no windows breathing in the fumes.
