What activities do you do with baby?

Looking for some inspiration on things to do/games to play.

Answer

Eric enjoys some rhymes (pat-a-cake, etc.) and anything with motions that I make his arms and legs do. I also hold out toys and other items for him to grab as he's very into touching/grabbing right now. He likes when I have him hold onto my thumbs and pull him into a sitting position and then lay him down again while saying up and down and when I roll him into his tummy so he can roll back again. The last one is our modified version of tummy time since he hates it! As a last resort, usually when I have to get things done, we got him a kick and play piano play mat and he loves that.

Answer

I use an exercise ball and lay my dd in top of it and kind of roll her around. A variation of tummy time she loves it. I also roll textured balls up and down her stomach. She is just beginning to touch and grab toys so I make she she has things that have different textures to explore.
