So I went to my 39+3 check up today, all is well, baby in the right position and head engaged. The midwife really enjoyed telling me that the baby is tall and skinny after his daddy, freaked me out a bit..:-) Well I'm coming back for my next check up in a week, at 40+3, I will be assessed properly, if I'm dilating and all that. My doctor offered me a sweep to speed things up a bit, I said I'll think about it. I'm already really uncomfortable, belly didn't drop yet and my ribs are killing me, can't sleep at all but I still think it would be better for the nature to take it's course and wait until the labour starts naturally. What do you ladies think? Would you go for a sweep being 3 days over full term? How bad is it if you went through it? Thanks...
