Depends or pads?

Haha just sounds really weird! But I saw on here that one mom was planning on using depends instead of pads and I thought that was such a good idea. This is my 3rd and I always hated changing the pads and it messing up my underwear or moving and not staying put. My question is has anyone used them and thought they are way better then the pads for postpartum?

I think I will use depends def holds a lot more!! I don't care how they look I've thought about wearing them through out this pregnancy just in case of accidents 😋

I bought both and didn't really end up using the depends. I thought I would hate using the hospital mesh underwear, but I ended up loving it.  The hospital had the pad ice packs and they were stretchy to hold everything in place.  The depends would be good to put the ice pack inside, you could always put a pad inside the depends so that you don't go through them so quick, since there aren't too many in the box and you might be bleeding heavily the first few days.

My doula recommended Depends for the first few days postpartum. I also have some of the super duper pads on hand for the 8-12 weeks of bleeding I'm told to expect.

I used a depend to hold in the pads because the depends aren't as good at soaking in the blood but I found that was the way to go instead of the mesh underwear because the depends holds everything in place with added protection

My bleeding was much less than I thought. The real bleeding was just first day, Id compare the rest so far to a heavy period the next day,avg after and now five days later a light period. The depends were great in that they weren't moving and contained things but after day two overnight pads were def enough. The spray is Great as are the tucks pads so get two packs of those. They really soothe.

I bought them - 1 box - to try. Would e nice to be able to throw them away. The active ones are low cut and look like undies. We shall see.

I plan on starting with depends and then as the bleeding lightens switching to pads. I feel like I'll be more secure with coverage in depends. They do make these slim version of depends. That's what I bought.
