HELP! LEEP!

I will be going in for my very first LEEP in less than a week. I don't feel that my doctor, significant other, or close friends are being very supportive in affirming and assuaging my anxiety (granted, none of them has ever had one before). I'm SUPER freaked out. I had a biopsy done before this and I hated it. I KNOW it isn't a major surgical procedure. I KNOW plenty of women have this done yearly, BUT I HAVEN'T. I've been giving all the technical details, but no description about what I can expect to feel afterward.
