How long should I wait to get a blood test for pregnancy?

Im four days late and have NO symptoms that my period is coming. I don't want to get excited. We've been trying to get pregnant. When should I call my dr? The at hone test is negative.

There's been a lot if sex so it could be 3 weeks or 8! I'll take a test again and call my dr :)

Well depends when you had sex. Usually you have to wait I believe a week or two and then take the home test. If you do it's better to do it right when you wake up.

My doctor was booked up and would not take me until I had a test taken somewhere else. I went to my local health department and had it done. Once I finally had a doctors appointment I was 14 weeks 😱

I would call now & see what your doc recommends then go from there. I was about  one week late(they were booked up to get any earlier) and got a blood drawn pregnancy conformation.
