What are good meals to take to a new mom?

What do you usually bring over to a new mom just home from the hospital? Any easy recipes?

I usually do a slow roast of beef or pork in the crockpot. And then add broth and vegetables in a disposable foil container so it can be kept.

You can also do those freezer meals (look on Pinterest) that are pre-prepared and just all dumped in a ziploc. When mom wants to eat it, she dumps the ziploc contents into the crock pot but everything is pre measured and seasoned. I'm sorry I didn't explain this well!
If mom is breastfeeding especially, she will be starving and need lots of good calories!

Chicken casserole, lasagna, potato soup, spaghetti. Basically anything that can be easily reheated and stretched out over a couple days.

A friend brought me a big bowl of chicken salad and a thing of fruit. It was great for lunches and snacks and lasted several days. It was light and refreshing, especially after all the hospital food and fast food!

My dad and stepmother brought me lasagna, and my brother and his girlfriend brought me and my husband homemade meatballs and sub rolls for meatball subs. The lasagna just needed to go in the oven, and the meatballs just needed reheated in the crockpot. We got a couple meals out of each.
