Estimated due date fluctuating? Ugh.

Question

So my due date keeps being tossed around from Feb 13th, the 15th or the 22nd, due to the ultrasound measurements. This is kinda frustrating.

Anyone else have/had this problem?

(First day of my last period was may 9th, which lasted 8 days! My periods have always been irregular.)

Try not to stress about it too much, after all it's just an estimate.

With my first pregnancy they did because of the size of the baby's measurements. They changed it 3 times.  I knew the date because i just know my body. I was right with the date and the doctor was wrong the whole time. You will know before they do.

Typically they won't officially change your due date unless it's two weeks or more off.

40 weeks and due dates are just guesstimates and averages. Your baby could come any time naturally from 38-42 weeks (according to my midwife). Frankly the farther your due date is pushed out the better because than you can go longer wothout medical intervention. Truth though your baby will come when ready don't stress :D

Mine started out Feb 22nd but my new doc says Feb 17th. 
My last pregnancy I was told June 6 from my doc and June 3rd from an US tech in the ER. I thought it maybe had something to do with the machine used?....if they measure slightly different?

My baby has been measuring big, but when I asked my doctor if the due date would be moved up, she said no because LMP is the most reliable due date estimator. So I'd go off your LMP.

According to my LMP my EDD was January 31 but after my first ultrasound at 11 weeks they changed it to February 11. I just tell people "early February"' lol :)

You do realize that just because they give you a due date, doesn't mean your baby will be born that day.

Why does it matter if it changes?

My due date is feb 22 according to when I ovulated but after ultrasound they changed it to feb 28.

I don't mind unless I go over 40 weeks since I will be 46 when this baby is born and was told by the midwife that I can't go past 41 weeks because of my age. But my two earlier babies came 1.5 weeks early so I hope this one does to :-)
