How do you start bottle feeding?

My job has very generously let me work from home and come in 1 day a week. My husband will be watching DD. How do I start with a bottle? I've been saving milk but just hate the idea of her having to use a bottle :( she's a super nurser! I don't know if I trust my husband with this so we'll be practicing...ha. I have no idea how much she eats! 2 months old. Any tips?

Medela and Lansinoh both make bottles that mimic breastfeeding, I would use a newborn nipple regardless of how old she is just so the flow is low

Hmmm starting a bottle was hard for us.  My daughter struggled at first because the milk came out so much faster from the bottle and she got choked up sometimes.  We also had to try a few different bottles to get one she liked enough to get her to feed from.  I used the same brand as the paci she liked.  Good luck!

You may have to try a couple different bottle until you find the one LO likes! I went through three or four different ones until I found one DD liked!  Be patient with LO after bottle when trying to feed may be a little nipple confusion at first! Good luck!

Have your husband do it with you not in the room. They can smell your milk and may have a harder time taking the bottle if they know the breast is close. Worked for us. Try a few different bottles to give them an option of which they like. Dr Browns bottles and playtex ventaire bottles are ones we use. It may take a few tries so just be patient!
