I'm 37 weeks and had my bloods checked at my last appointment to check on my iron levels, iron was fine (as I'm now on tablets) but my platelets are too low to give birth in a birth centre. I've been referred to a consultant and have an appointment Monday. Has anyone else experienced this? What should I expect at the consultant appointment? I haven't really been told anything.
