Pregnancy Gingivitis ?

My guns are a little swollen in certain areas and are a little tender.  I have good dental hygiene but I notice my gums bleed a little too ...

Anybody else have this? If so, what do you do for treatment ? Is there a special mouthwash that is safe to use ?

My FIL is my dentist. Definitely go get your teeth cleaned at your dentist. Second trimester is the perfect time for a cleaning with pregnancy and it's actually highly recommended. Pregnancy changes your teeth and getting a cleaning and checkup will do wonders.

I have the same problem! My dentist said to brush more often and to floss every day. He also recommended that I go in for more cleanings during my pregnancy. It's definitely helped!

Yup I get this too. Make sure you floss every single day to keep plaque from building up and irritating your gums. I also oil pull with coconut oil once a week or so. Helps to reduce the inflammation in your gums.
