Single moms - what was your first date like after your baby was born?

How old was your baby when you first decided to date and how did the date go?  
My son is 2 and I have never been away from him before and I have a date next Friday. I feel like I'm going to appreciate some me time but I don't know if I'll get really anxious.  .

Have you decided who you are leaving him with? I left my son with my mom, she is my go to simply because I know I can trust her judgement if something happens she will do the best by him. It's very important you trust who you leave him with , that will help give you a better piece of mind. But I also didn't have a choice when leaving my son, he has been in day care since he was 6 wks old I was a full time college student with 18 credit  hrs and a full time job. It gets easier I promise. Gl on ur date I hope you have a good time

I didn't go on a date until my son was almost 2.  Like PP, my son had to be in daycare since he was young. I just felt too guilty leaving him even more when I didn't have to. The only reason we started practicing my sister or parents babysitting is because I'll go into labor soon with our second child 😃
