C section advice

I'm 4weeks almost 5 Post Surgery, I noticed when checking the incision it's gone a bit red/gooy in certain places, I'm guessing it's coz I have now a hang over of loose skin since having baby and the fresh air isn't getting to it as much, any advice how to allow the new scar to get air to it. I have been putting antiseptic cream and been cleaning frequently with cooled boiled water now I'm aware of the situation
